This campaign is currently running but this page is under construction…

This is the home for my Pathfinder game using the Scales of War Campaign from Dragon Magazine by Wizards of the Coast that was written for 4th Edition D&D. Why run it as a Pathfinder game you may ask, why not use D&D as it was ment for? Well, I did start it last year as a D&D game and ran the first part, Rescue at Rivenroar, using D&D but my group has changed during the year, some have left while others have joined us, now it is my turn to GM again (several take turns to GM during the year) and while most are happy to continue with D&D one is not, while everyone is ok to play it as Pathfinder so there is your answer. Yes it means conversion work on my part but as a GM it is important to try and keep ALL the players happy as often as possible, if you can then you have taken a big step towards some great gaming sessions over the years, that is my thought anyway, besides, i am willing to do the work now if we get some great games in the future. “smile”

So, with the old D&D characters converted over to similar Pathfinder characters, Scales of War part 2 – Siege of Bordrin’s Watch, starts with the party enjoying their celebrity status in Brindol, having saved several townsfolk and some treasures of the town from the evil Sinruth and his band of Hobgoblins a few months ago now but who was that Emissary that wrote the note to Sinruth offering great rewards for saking the town…

The players call their group The Company of the Phoenix as it was formed originally as they all fought together in Brindol defending the town from Sinruth’s initial raid and fighting the fires he left as the Hobgoblins fled. It seems even more apropriate now as the current party is formed from the ashes of the previous one as it were “wink”
